Dassault Systèmes is a catalyst for human progress. Starting in 1981, the company has pioneered virtual worlds to improve real life for consumers, patients, and citizens. Since 2020, the company has extended its impact in the life sciences and healthcare industry with science-based virtual twin experiences of the human body to help clients enhance medical decisions and improve patient journeys. With Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform, 370,000 customers of all sizes, in all industries, can collaborate, imagine, and create sustainable innovations that drive meaningful impact, according to company officials.
Recently the company announced the general availability of SOLIDWORKS 2026, its portfolio of AI-powered 3D design, collaboration, and data management applications, which enables millions of SOLIDWORKS users to transform how they innovate for the generative economy. SOLIDWORKS 2026 features hundreds of enhancements across design, simulation, electrical, and product data management solutions that respond to user requests for improved efficiency and productivity.
The portfolio builds on 30 years of research and development expertise. SOLIDWORKS 2026 users can address complexity, time to market, workforce shortages, knowledge search and generation, and other challenges in the creation of products that align sustainability and experience. A key SOLIDWORKS 2026 enhancement is generative AI that speeds up drawing creation and detailing, and streamlines assembly creation by automatically recognizing and assembling components that look like fasteners–such as nuts and bolts–to save time and improve accuracy. Another feature is an integrated AI-powered virtual companion, to quickly extract knowledge from information by summarizing community posts, wikis, questions and ideas, which captures key takeaways and generates increasingly relevant answers to boost productivity and collaboration.
SOLIDWORKS 2026 also offers enhanced large assembly features such as selective loading, to create more streamlined, production-ready workflows. The user experience has been enhanced to help them stay on track even during internet disruptions; it boosts productivity by highlighting commonly used commands and gets users up to speed quickly with enhanced command search. Improved part features include streamlined physical product creation, faster sketching, and simpler flange start and end point definition in sheet metal to speed up parts creation. Other upgrades include drawing stamping with newly added user attributes, to ensure accurate and seamless change management while improving traceability and communication; managed cut lists on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform integrating both engineering and manufacturing bills of materials, to align design and production effortlessly; and an improved view of recent files showing only files relevant to the active tenant, to reduce clutter and prevent duplicates.
The company has more than 184 offices around the world. It became a Hacienda tenant in December 2025. Dassault Systèmes offers 13 brands that provide applications for 3D modeling, simulation, social and collaborative work, and information intelligence, as well as applications for cloud ecosystems and that address cyber-governance. Its diverse portfolio allows its teams to accompany players across the globe in developing novel approaches to everything from green logistics to product durability, waste reduction, and more. The company employs 25,000 individuals based in 45 countries.
