Getinge is a global provider of innovative solutions for operating rooms, intensive-care units, sterilization departments, and for life science companies and institutions. Getinge North America has been a Hacienda tenant since November 2018. In addition to its products, the company also offers Getinge Service, which keeps Getinge equipment running smoothly with a routine preventative maintenance schedule. It also offers certified service technicians in all 50 states to support and resolve any emergency issues.
In late February 2026, the company announced that its U.S. Service department had been awarded the National Business Research Institute (NBRI) Circle of Excellence Award for the sixth year in a row. This continued achievement highlights the organization’s commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. The NBRI Circle of Excellence Award recognizes organizations that demonstrate world‑class levels of customer satisfaction based on rigorous, scientific, psychological research of customer feedback. To qualify, organizations must score at or above Stretch Performance, placing them at the 75th percentile or higher within their industry.
Getinge continues to outperform industry benchmarks across key indicators of customer satisfaction, including service technician communication, knowledge, professionalism, friendliness, and timeliness. Getinge’s performance is compared against a subset of NBRI’s extensive database, which includes more than 10.5 billion survey responses. NBRI’s advanced root‑cause analytics—including linear regressions and random forest modeling—provide actionable insights that help guide ongoing improvements to the customer experience.
“We are honored to receive the NBRI Circle of Excellence Award for the sixth consecutive year,” according to Carlos Garcia, Senior Director of Service at Getinge. “This recognition reflects the dedication, expertise, and customer‑first mindset of our entire Service team. Their commitment to delivering exceptional service and consistently going above and beyond for our customers continues to set us apart.”
This latest recognition underscores the organization’s long‑term focus on service excellence, and its continued efforts to elevate the customer experience each year. The sustained achievement reinforces Getinge’s role as a trusted partner to healthcare providers and life science companies across the United States.
In March, the company announced it had received U.S. FDA Premarket Approval for additional sizes of its iCast covered stent system, expanding treatment options for patients with occlusive disease. The approval includes a new 10 mm diameter by 59 mm length, new 32 mm lengths, and new 12 mm large-diameter options. These newly approved sizes enable physicians to treat a broader range of vessel and lesion diameters and lengths, increasing procedural flexibility and expanding access to the iCast covered stent system for more patients across the U.S. The iCast covered stent system, including the newly approved sizes, will continue to be distributed in the U.S. through Getinge’s collaboration with Cook Medical.
”We are excited to bring this important portfolio expansion to the U.S. market,” says Chad Carlton, Getinge Vice President Endovascular Solutions. “Physicians outside the U.S. have long benefitted from a broader size offering when treating patients with our Advanta V12 covered stent system, which features an identical device design to the iCast covered stent. We are pleased to now offer these additional sizes to U.S. physicians within the iCast covered stent product family.”
