HACIENDA ENDS 2012 WITH SUBSTANTIAL GAINS THROUGH THE YEAR

PLEASANTON, Calif. — Hacienda is reporting a strong, net positive inflow of tenants for 2012. Nearly 573,000 sf of development activity occurred in Hacienda during 2012, which includes new project approvals and construction. Net tenant absorption totaled approximately 210,283 square feet. The park is the largest mixed-use development of its kind in Northern California.

"This marks the second consecutive year of strong, positive growth in Hacienda. Our ability to attract quality tenants, such as those we saw arriving in 2012, is a continued demonstration of Hacienda's underlying value" said James Paxson, Hacienda's general manager. "Furthermore, we are seeing signs that 2013 will also be another year for positive absorption."

Major transactions in 2012 were seen by companies in a variety of business segments, including Blackhawk Network (gift card distribution), Club One Pleasanton (fitness), Cooper Bussmann (circuit protection products), CPU Tech (electronic systems), Ellie Mae (on-demand automation solutions for the mortgage industry), Gap Inc. (retailer), Hitachi (semiconductor), Maddie's Fund (animal care), ServiceMax (software), and Sunbelt Controls (building automation contractor).
