PLEASANTON, Calif. — Hacienda tenant activity and development continued at a good pace during the first quarter of 2019 with net positive absorption seen year-to-date over the close of 2018 coupled with decreases in vacancy in the office sector. Tenant activity was composed of both new incoming tenants and relocations for existing tenants within the development. The park is the largest mixed-use development of its kind in Northern California.

"Activity for the beginning of the year has been good. Despite a slight drop in office space occupancy, activity in other areas has more than compensated for this loss" said James Paxson, Hacienda's general manager. "We are particularly excited about recent discussions related to new development, and new plans and programs for existing facilities. In addition, a number of smaller projects that began last year continue as newly relocated tenants perform the work needed to support their occupancy. This includes improvements for a large relocation that we look forward to announcing soon."

Major transactions to date in 2019 were seen involving companies in a variety of business segments. Activity includes: Millie and Severson (Construction/Contractors) and Colliers International (Brokers) (relocation within Hacienda).
