  • Hacienda's Ellie Mae, Inc., a leading provider of Internet solutions for the mortgage industry, has added four of the nation's top lenders to its Business Center (at www.EllieMaeBiz.com), a B2B Internet-based transaction portal. The new partnerships include Bank of America Mortgage, First Horizon Home Loan Corp., First Nationwide Mortgage Corp., and GN Mortgage, bringing the total number of Ellie Mae lender affiliates to 15. They join Bank United, GMAC Mortgage Corp., GreenPoint Mortgage, Western Sunrise Mortgage Corp. and seven other lenders on the Ellie Mae Business Center. These lenders will be positioned to receive mortgage loans from Ellie Mae's network of broker affiliates, and have agreed to promote a multi-lender version of the Business Center to their broker channels.
  • Remedy Corporation and Necho Systems Corporation announced an alliance to integrate Necho's automated travel and entertainment expense solution with Remedy's eProcurement solution. Remedy recognizes Necho NavigatER as an excellent complement to its own employee self-service products. NavigatER automates travel and expense entry and processing and simplifies monthly reporting, whether end users are on the company LAN/WAN, the Web, or offline.
  • Datek Online Holdings Corp., a pioneer in the online brokerage industry, will use Zantaz.com's Digital Safe to provide a secure, scalable, resource-efficient service for archiving electronic documents. Zantaz.com's Digital Safe service will capture and archive all of Datek's incoming and outgoing email. Datek Online has more than 500,000 active customers who executed approximately 120,000 trades per day in the first quarter of 2000. All of Datek's correspondence that is conducted over the Internet will be archived.
  • SBC Communications Inc. has exceeded its goal to increase business conducted with minority-women- and disabled-veteran-owned business enterprises. This comes a year after SBC and 13 other telecommunications companies issued the "Supplier Diversity Challenge" to the entire industry to develop world-class supplier diversity programs and work toward purchasing 10 percent of goods and services each year from minority-, women- and disabled-veteran-owned suppliers. In 1999, SBC purchased an industry-leading 21.9 percent of goods and services from diversity suppliers and the Association for Service Disabled Veterans ranked SBC the top performer in its Patriot Index.
