Pleasanton Chamber’s “Beyond the Cloud 4.0” Luncheon Provides Strategic Insights

On Wednesday, November 16, the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce and City of Pleasanton present Beyond the Cloud 4.0, their fourth annual luncheon. "After last year's incredibly insightful program, we're convening another top-notch panel from companies headquartered here in town to speak candidly about keys to success, challenges in recruitment, rising costs of doing business and why they headquartered in Pleasanton," said Matt DePretis, CPA and chairman of the board for the Chamber.

This year's opening keynote will be delivered by Lana Khavison, a marketing leader and small business specialist with LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network with over 450 million registered members in over 200 countries. She will address the group regarding ways to learn "the power of LinkedIn" and how to use it for recruitment, marketing, and business success.

Khavison's talk will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Joseph Cristiano, chairman of the board of the Bank of San Francisco and retired president and CEO of Kelly-Moore Paint Co. He will coordinate a conversation with Susan Chenoweth, SVP of marketing at Ellie Mae, the Hacienda-based provider of provider of innovative on-demand software solutions and services for the residential mortgage industry; Tim Harkness, founder and CEO of Unchained Labs, a maker of new tools for biologics researchers; and Debra VanSickle, co-founder and VP of Peridot, a precision manufacturing company that specializes in medical and other high complexity components.

The event will conclude with the presentation of this year's Economic Driver Awards, which recognize rising stars which are headquartered in Pleasanton. A number of Hacienda companies have been honored with this award in the past, including Zoho, Veeva Systems, Zeltiq, and Sanarus. Who will join their ranks in 2016?
