PulteGroup, Inc., America's third-largest homebuilding company, recently announced it had been named to the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces for Women List by Fortune Media and Great Place To Work. This is PulteGroup’s sixth consecutive year being named to this prestigious list. The company, which moved its Northern California headquarters to Hacienda in 2016, was ranked at number 26 this year.
The Best Workplaces for Women list is highly competitive. Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for women regardless of job role, race, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.
“We’re proud to be recognized on the Fortune Best Workplaces for Women list for the sixth year in a row,” according to Kevin Henry, Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at PulteGroup. “This honor underscores our deep commitment to fostering a workplace where women are supported, valued, and empowered to grow both personally and professionally. From paid parental leave and flexible work options to caregiver support, women’s leadership programs, and mentorship opportunities, we’ve built a culture that champions equity and enables our team members to thrive. This recognition speaks to the inclusive environment our employees help shape every day.”
Great Place To Work measured the experience of women at participating companies and compared those results to their peers within the organization. The best companies create great work experiences for all women, from the frontline to the C-Suite. “Congratulations to the Fortune Best Workplaces for Women,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “These companies show that when women thrive in the workplace, everybody else does too. That’s what it means to be a For All company, where the expectation is that every employee can have a great experience and reach their full potential.”
In 2025, PulteGroup was also named to the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces in Construction List, the 2025 PEOPLE Companies that Care list, ranked as one of the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For, and earned the 2025 Great Place To Work Certification. In 2024, the company was honored on the Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials list

“We remain disciplined in running our business consistent with PulteGroup’s long-term operating and financial strategies as we manage production volumes and capital allocation, while executing our operating model to drive high returns over the housing cycle” according to PulteGroup President and CEO, Ryan Marshall. “Reflective of this approach, in our third quarter we generated home sale revenues of $4.2 billion, and earnings of $2.96 per share, while driving strong cash flow from operations and returning $344 million to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases.”
Additionally, “within the current operating conditions, our diversified business platform is enabling PulteGroup to deliver strong financial results, while we continue to position the business for growth when buyer demand improves in the future,” Marshall noted. “We are encouraged to see that interest rates have moved lower, but continue to monitor buyer demand that has been impacted by weaker consumer confidence and ongoing affordability challenges.”
