Overview

The following overview will provide you with information on the most recent Hacienda activity pertaining to occupancy, tenants, sales and regional data of interest. Please also refer to selections found under the Project Overview section of our web site for related information.

Park Activity

• Occupancy and Major Tenant Transactions {Summary of occupancy information and major tenant activity} Overall occupancy increased slightly for the month to 89.88% owing primarily to a decrease in office vacancy to 12.25%. Office/Flex space vacancy rose slightly to 9.60% for the month and retail vacancy decreased slightly to 2.88%. Key activity in January included an expansion of Roche Molecular Systems at the Britannia complex on Hopyard.

• Development {Summary of development approvals and project construction information} Residential construction continues on the two Essex projects at Owens Drive and Hacienda Drive, and the new Summerhill Andares project on W. Las Positas Boulevard. Construction is now under way for the new Roche Molecular Systems office building at their campus off Stoneridge Drive. Office site project work is now almost completed for the Axis Community Health and John Muir tenancies and continues for new tenants at the Rosewood Commons project.
